We left Newcastle Monday morning 7.30am flight, and there was a sniff of snow in the air only to arrive in Faro three hours later welcomed with blistering sun.It´s been a fabulous trip so far, with Carlos (owner of the Geordie Viking pub) providing us with free beer. Everyone has been so friendly.We made it to the Algarve, and the Monday evening we came across Rob Marshall (from Whitley Bay, who would like a mention). He had struck lucky on his hotel 5 Euro pub crawl - being the only lad amongst a gaggle of 12 young ladies, and he was errrr enjoying himself.Only down side has been "Shite-Arse" Denis stinking the toilet out cstantly. You would think a rat had crawled up his arse and died.Tuesday we met up with our old mate Scott Newbiggin from Chester-le-Street, and after a few hours on the beach, we made it along the Strip and crashed back at the hotel at 3am.
