Conte defends

Juve appeared set for victory after second-half goals by Claudio Marchisio and Mirko Vucinic at the Stadio Dall'Ara when Conte appeared to call on the Bianconeri supporters to raise their volume to celebrate the result. To be happy at winning another Scudetto is considered a lack of respect? I was just celebrating alongside my fans, while the gestures were spontaneous towards my daughter. With just nine games remaining and a 12-point lead at the top, Juve appear firm favourites for a second successive Scudetto. Conte, however, called on his side to finish the season in trumphant fashion and secure victories in all their remaining games.Pioli felt this was disrespectful and was severely critical of the 43-year-old's actions although he went on to state that the matter had been cleared up between the two coaches.I know that it annoys many people when we win, but there was no lack of respect whatsoever. There are so many other horrible things elsewhere, like throwing rocks at team buses, so what's wrong if I want to celebrate with my fans.In his own press conference, the former Siena coach defended his actions and opined that his side's comprehensive dominance in the Serie A has made them unfavoured winners of late.Today [Saturday] we faced a team who approached the fixture off the back of three victories, and if we had lost we would have handed a boost to the sides behind us.Instead we deserved to win and I'm happy with how the lads played. We play good football and I'm proud of this team. The former Juventus player also revealed that he was open to moving abroad and managing a club from another league although he remains focused on the present on the task of managing the Serie A giants. If I can't even celebrate with my fans after such an important victory, I don't know what you can do any more," Conte told reporters after the match.
