Villas-Boas prioritises

The former Chelsea boss has become a hit at White Hart Lane this season and is in a good position to deliver Champions League qualification for the north London side.Spurs are set to face Basel in the first leg of their Quarter Final tie on Thursday and while Villas-Boas has confirmed their upcoming ties against Chelsea, Everton and Manchester City are more important. However, he also has a rather welcome distraction in that Spurs are in the Quarter Finals of the Europa League following two excellent victories over Lyon and Inter Milan. The fact that we are going to be third this week doesn’t put more or less doubt on ourselves or make us over-confident. We have to continue to do our job.Tottenham’s 2-1 victory over Swansea City at the weekend saw them leapfrog Chelsea into third place and edge even closer to a possible top four finish with just seven games remaining.
