The England star had been accused of assaulting a woman in Toxteth, Liverpool, last November.The case against Mr Sterling, 18, from Woolton, was dismissed at Liverpool Magistrates' Court after prosecutor Rob Jones offered no evidence.The Jamaican-born player made his senior international debut for England last November against Sweden and has earned plaudits for his performances for Liverpool this season.The winger had previously entered a not guilty plea via his solicitor.
