   They apparently thought they were close to agreeing a deal to sign £50m Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid but it seems they may miss out to mega-rich Monaco, who are prepared to hand him a staggering £8m a year after tax.Daily Mirror is claiming this rainy Wednesday morning.
