Ryan Taylor to visit US surgeon

             
  Liverpool-born Taylor, who can also play in midfield, has already had one operation, but Newcastle boss Alan Pardew recently confirmed there had been a setback in his recovery and he could miss the entirety of next season.Steadman has performed surgery on ex-Magpies strikers Michael Owen and Alan Shearer in the past. Taylor tweeted on Tuesday evening:  "All ready for my long flight to Denver tomorrow.The 28-year-old's cruciate knee ligament will be operated on by renowned specialist Dr Richard Steadman in Vail, Colorado.Loads asking am I going to see Dr Steadman? I sure am.Prior to Taylor, Dr Steadman's most recent Premier League patient was Fulham defender Zdenek Grygera.I'm over to have my ACL repaired again. Then the recovery begins to get back.
