Mario Gotze may return

The 37m euros fee required to trigger the release clause in his contract means he will become the most expensive German player of all time when he moves to the Bavarian giants on 1 July.Gotze has excelled since debuting with the Dortmund first team in November 2009, helping the club to the 2010-11 and 2011-12 Bundesliga titles.Gotze has been labelled as having "the same assets" as reigning four-time World Player of the Year Lionel Messi by Germany legend Franz Beckenbauer. He has only missed one European game this season in his club's run to their first appearance in a Champions League decider in 16 years, scoring two goals. The Germany international was taken off in the early stages of the 2-0 defeat at the Bernabeu on 30 April that saw Dortmund progress to the Wembley showpiece on aggregate, holding his leg in pain. His club now hope he has sufficiently recovered to begin running again soon.We will intensify training gradually during the week and the plan is for him to join the team training next week," Klopp added. "Then we will see if it is good enough.
