Brighton secured their place

Gus Poyet's side got off to a bright start when Andrea Orlandi struck the post before Tom Lees's weak pass back to Paddy Kenny allowed Buckley in to score the opener. But an incident during Diouf's celebration, in which he appeared to make a gesture towards the away fans, meant the striker was dismissed and Brighton took full advantage when Ulloa headed in Orlandi's cross to secure the win.Austin then saw red for an aggressive challenge on Brighton striker Ashley Barnes to make matters worse for Brian McDermott's Leeds. What he [Diouf] did is not clever. He has got to learn because he is going to miss three games now. He is really upset but he has to be accountable for his actions. Will Buckley's opener gave the visitors the lead and the pendulum swung further in Brighton's favour as Rodolph Austin was sent off for violent conduct. The hosts did respond well, despite their numerical disadvantage, and Ross McCormack had their best chances with a back-to-goal half-volley which skipped just wide and a rising shot over the top. These things are dotted around his career. He can be a match-winner and I've told him he has to let his football do the talking.Leeds levelled after the break when Calderon pulled Diouf down and the striker put away the resulting penalty.
